Fac. #2076, 800 East Kettleman Lane, Lodi
PHS/EHD requested submittal of the Problem Assessment Report.
Remediation will proceed when the contamination has been defined and
equipment becomes available. The PHS/EHD indicated that this site is a low
priority.
ARCO issued the Problem Assessment Report on 4/15/93. Quarterly
status reports dated 4/27/93, 7/2/93, 11/3/93 & 3/24/94 have also been issued
and document that groundwater is not impacted by hydrocarbons.
Fac. #434, 501 Kettleman Lane, Lodi
PHS/EHD requested that vapor extraction and quarterly monitoring
continue.
ARCO has submitted quarterly status reports over the past year. ARCO
also submitted a work plan for clean-up confirmation borings to the PHS/EHD on
3/22/94. Groundwater beneath and adjacent to the site has been nondetect to
near nondetect since February of 1993.
ARCO recently received approval from the San Joaquin Valley Air
Pollution Control District to use a biofilter to remediate the low concentrations of
hydrocarbons being emitted from the operating vapor extraction system. The air
emission treatment unit currently at the site will be moved to ARCO facility
#2093 in Tracy in the near future.
Fac. #6100, 25775 Patterson Pass Road, Tracy
PHS/EHD requested an investigation of the depth at which groundwater
enters the water supply well. Off-site assessment is to continue.
ARCO addressed the depth to groundwater at the site in a letter report to
the PHS/EHD dated 11/4/93. ARCO has sent an access agreement to Mr.
Robert Vieira on 6/15/93 and again on 4/4/94 for the purpose of drilling on his
property in order to further define the extent of soil contamination. Mr. Vieira has
not replied to ARCO.
Fac. #2093, N. Tracy Blvd., Tracy
ARCO was to install remediation piping and begin vapor extraction. Since
the 3/93 meeting ARCO has performed the following:
a) submitted quarterly status reports dated 6/14/93, 11/8/93, &
3/9/94.
b) submitted a Final Remediation Plan dated 5/14/93
c) submitted a Work Plan for Soil Excavation and Sampling dated
5/14/93.
d) submitted a limited Subsurface Investigation report dated 7/1/93
e) issued the Underground Storage Tank Removal & Soil Sampling
report dated 10/14/93.
