'. � ` ` <br /> 9 <br /> 4 <br /> FINDINGS <br /> To evaluate the soil and groundwater quality off site, one to two subsurface soil <br /> samples (five total) from each borehole and one groundwater sample (four total) from each <br /> monitoring well (PR-1, PR-2, BHD-1, and 1?HD-2) were selected for analysis. Samples were <br /> analyzed for total petroleum fuel hydrocarbons; benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, and xylene <br /> (BETX);and total lead at Eureka laboratory. <br /> Soil Quality <br /> Results for soil samples analyzed are summarized in Table 1. Complete laboratory <br /> reports arr. included as Appendix D. Total petroleum fuel hydrocarbons and BETX <br /> constituents in each soil samples are below detection limits. Total lead concentrations in <br /> each soil sample are detectable at probably natural, background concentrations which are <br /> well below the California Regional Water Quality Control Board's, Central Valley Region <br /> %.regional Board's)designated level in a solid for the protection of groundwater quality. <br /> _.
