FINDINGS,: Groundter elevation and flow direction were inferred frorn field data. The hydrocarbon-impact wa _ .to ground water was quantified by laboratory analysis of'the ground water samples. 3.1.�' ` .GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND FLOW DIRECTION -On 18 March 2006, the relative depth to groundwater ranged from 5.61 feetto 6.66 feet below the tops of the well casings (btoc); the ground water elevation was calculated at between 32:81 feet (MW-4) and 33.75 feet (MW-2) above mean sea level (MSL). Ground water was inferred to flow. towards the north at a gradient of between 0.002 ft/ft in the southern portion of the site and 0.008 ft/ft in.the northern portion of.the site. Ground water elevation data is presented,in Table 1 and the contoured ' • round water elevation data is shown on Figure 3. - - • � - 3.2.' ' ANALYTICAL..RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES , In first quarter 2006, TPH-g-and the'BTEX'compourids benzene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected only'in ground water sample MW-4, at'concenfrations of 140 micrograms per liter (µg/1), 2.6 pg/l, 8.6 µg11 and 2:7 µg11, respectively...No additional analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits,in the.analyzed,samples. Analytical results of ground water s_ainples are, summarized in Table 2.
