INTRODUCTION
At:the request'of Mr. Weldon Church,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared,this
' quarterly ground water monitoring report for the site at 104 West Beverly Places Tracy, California.
The scope of work included the.monitoring and sampling of eight well's and preparation of this
r,
report. The site location is illustrated on Figure 1. Locations of,structures, borings, and monitoring
wells related to the site are illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is provided in
'.
Appendix A.
.2.0.: , PROCEDURES
' The December 2005 monitoring event was, performed in accordance with,Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (EHD) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and far "
' sampling ground water monitoring wells.
2.1. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
On 10 December 2005, a Solirist water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water
1 in ground water monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-7 relative to the tops of the well casings. After
groundwater depth rileasurements were collected, a minimum of three casing-water volumes.were
' purged.:from each monitoring well using;'a dedicated ,disposable piastic .bailer. In--addition,
temperature,pH, and conductivity were measured at regular purge intervals-using an Oakton water
analyzer to monitor stabilization of these ground water, parametefs. Field data',logs are included in
Appendix B:Purged water was temporarily stored on-site in 55--gallon Department of Transportation
(DOT)-approved,storage drums pending proper disposal.
2.2..• .COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND,WATER SAMPLES
'! Water samples-were collected frorn.monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-7 using new disposable
bailers. The samples were transferred into 40-milliliter(ml)EPA-approved volatile organic analysis.
(VOA) vial's containing 0.5.m1'.18%Hydrochloric,acid'solution asia preseivative..The sample vials'
' were then labeled, with the monitoring well designation, date;time of sampling, and the sampler's
initials.
' 'The'' samples were .transported in a chilled container under chain; of custody' to Cal Tech
Environmental Laboratories (CTEL), a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)-'
' F Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
