15 January 2006
• '
AGE-NC'Project No. 95-0106
Page 2 of 3. -
certified analytical laboratory,and analyzed for:
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as "gasoline (TPH-g) in, accordance with
EPA Method 8015-Modified;
' Benzene; toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX); and fuel additives methyl tertiary- ,
butyl-ether(MTBE),tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether(DIPS), ethyl tertiary-
butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl'ether,(TAME), 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB), and
' . (1,2-DCA) in-accordance with EPA Method 8260B.
1,2-dchloroethane ( ) .
3.0. FINDINGS ' ..
' Ground water elevation and flow direction were inferred from field data. The hydrocarbon-impact
to ground water was quantified by laboratory analysis of the ground water samples.
3.1. GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND FLOW DIRECTION
• relative depth to groundwater ranged from 6.17 feet to 7.23 feet below
On 10 December 2005,the p g g
the tops of the well casings-(btoc);the ground water elevation was calculated at between 32:19 feet
' (MW-4) and 33.19 feet (MW-2) above mean sea level (MSL). Ground water was inferred to flow
towards the north at a gradient of between 0.002 ft/ft in the southern portion of the site and 0.01 ft/ft
'in the northern portion of the site. Ground water elevation data is presented in Table 1 'and the
contoured ground water elevation data is shown on Figure 1
' 3.2. ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
In fourth quarter 2005, TPH-g and the BTEX compounds benzene and ethylbenzene were detected
' in onlyAground water sample MW-4,at concentrations.of 200 micrograms per liter(pg/1), 15 µg/l
and 12µg/l,respectively.No additional'analyies were'detected at or above laboratory reporting limits ;
in the analyzed samples.
Analytical.'results of,ground water samples are summarized in Table 2. The laboratory report
(CTEL Project No:' CT214-0512092),quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC)reports and chain of custody-forms are"included in`Appendix C.-Documents, confirming the upload of laboratory
electronic„deliverable. format (EDF) files and,depth to water'measurements to GeoTracker-are
' included as Appendix D.
' Advanced GeoEnvironmckal,Inc.
