To monitor compliance with these requirements, a Load <br /> Checking Program has been implemented for the NCRC&SL for <br /> detecting hazardous wastes and liquids which are prohibited at <br /> the site. The following elements of the program have been <br /> initiated at the site: <br /> ■ Wastes which are prohibited are the following: <br /> • Free liquids, including liquid residues in containers <br /> or cans which are greater than five (S) gallons in <br /> volume. <br /> • Large dead animals. <br /> • Chemicals or chemical sludges which are toxic, <br /> corrosive, an irritant, or a strong sensitizer. <br /> • Cannery waste. <br /> • Drugs. <br /> • Infectious wastes. <br /> • Radioactive wastes. <br /> • Flammables or explosives. <br /> • Oil, batteries, or fuel wastes. <br /> • Pesticides or insecticides (properly rinsed containers i <br /> certified by the Agriculture Commissioner's office are <br /> allowed) . <br /> i <br />
