At a minimum,workers should break every two hours for ten to fifteen minute rest periods. Moreover, <br /> workers are encouraged to take rests whenever they feel any adverse effects,especially if those effects may <br /> be heat-related. If temperatures increase,the frequency of breaks may need to be increased. Another good <br /> indicator for heat load is the resting pulse rate.
