One of the stockpiled soil samples showed contamination with 37 ppm (parts per
million) diesel. The other soil samples from the stockpile did not show contamination.
SCS concludes that all contaminated soil has been removed from beneath the fuel
t dispensing area. The south-eastern part of the stockpiled soil is contaminated with
diesel.
' Reconimendatians
SCS Engineers recommends that the hole be backfilled, and all contaminated
stockpiled soil be treated by a bioremediation method. A proposal for that treatment
is attached. If there are any questions, please call (415) 829-0661.
Very
Very truly yours,
AK4 Viorica-Adrian,. Constantinescu John P.
