If
contamination was encountered during the replacement of the lines
ARCO wanted to be able to proceed with their plans for replacement.
It was discussed that if ARCO wanted to do minor excavation at the
time the contamination was discovered that they should include this
as a contingency in their piping replacement plan that is to be
submitted to the PHS/EHD underground storage tank unit and PHS/EHD
staff would coordinate the activities. Otherwise, it should be
stated in the piping replacement plan that further investigation
and remediation of any contamination found during the piping
replacement would proceed through the Local Oversight Program. The
stations cited and consultants assigned to them were:
1.617 W. Fremont Street, Stockton Brown and Caldwell
3518 E. Hammer Lane, Stockton EMCON
The following are summaries of the discussions and agreements
reached for each site.
7906 N.
