Kyle Christie
Page 2
PHS/EHD will write a letter to the northern property owner
upon receipt of a written request from ARCO. Due to continued
late receipt of quarterly monitoring reports, PHS/EHD will
allow a change in quarterly months from the standard to
accommodate EMCON' s heavy load of same due date for all other
quarterlies. ARCO is to request the change if desired. The
site is to continue soil vapor extraction as soon as repairs
are completed on the system. There are no PHS/EHD deadlines
currently pending for this site.
441 W. Charter Way, Stockton ARCO Facility #2168
PHS/EHD contact - Michael Infurna
ARCO has requested that a meeting be set up between PHS/EHD
representatives (Linda Turkatte and Michael Infurna) , ARCO
representatives and Texaco representatives, to discuss the
Charter Way sites and investigations. The future of this site
as an ARCO facility is undetermined since the lease renewal
time is near. If the lease is terminated, the tanks will be
removed. ARCO is to advise PHS/EHD of the plans as they are
decided. ARCO plans to drill angle and vertical borings
around the existing tank area, but the work plan has not been
finalized. Onsite monitoring wells MW3 and MW4 have a sheen
on the water and the gradient is still to the northeast. ARCO
discussed that the vapor extraction unit originally planned
for use at 1512 Hammer Lane, Stockton or 225 Cherokee Lane,
Lodi, may be taken to this site instead. ARCO will advise
PHS/EHD of the decision made. There are no PHS/EHD deadlines
currently pending for this site.
25775 Patterson Pass Road, Tracy ARCO Facility #6100
PHS/EHD contact - Margaret Lagorio
Mr. Robert Vieira has signed the access agreement for drilling
on his property. A work plan will be submitted to PHS/EHD and
the work will be conducted this spring.
501 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi ARCO Facility #434
PHS/EHD contact - Margaret Lagorio
The monitoring well replacement MW2 has been sampled and there
were no contaminants detected. This well will be placed on
the quarterly sampling schedule. The soil generated during
the installation of replacement MW2 was transported by Dillard
Trucking to their facility on December 30, 1994 . After
receipt of the sample results, disposal of the soil was
arranged. The biofilter has been permitted by San Joaquin
Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) so
the catalytic oxidizer currently at this site will be
transferred to the site at 3425 N.
