Groundwater <br /> expelled from the well during the grouting process will be contained, characterized, and <br /> disposed of properly. After the sealing operation, the excavation shall be back filled with. <br /> clean, native soil. The former wells will be capped with appropriate materials to match <br /> existing grade. <br /> REPORTING <br /> A letter summarizing the well destruction and soil disposal activities will be prepared and <br /> submitted to the CRWQCB and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCIEHD). The letter will include copies of the well destruction permits. Submittal of the <br /> letter will complete the final requirementsto obtain a "No Further Action" designation for the <br /> site. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Permits for destruction of the wells will be submitted'to SJCIEHD under separate cover. <br /> The fieldwork will begin following approval by SJCIEHD.
