Estimated approximately 100 gallons of clear diesel <br /> spilled from the top of truck,into the contaiment area of the truckrack and into the <br /> closed sump drain system and tank. <br /> Operator immediately shutdown all truck rack operations,and informed all drivers to <br /> leave vehicles alone,no starting of engines or moving of trucks. Operators called Shawn <br /> Mendoza,Area Mgr.Shawn Mendoza arrived at terminal, met with operators,evaluated <br /> hazards,and after checking the truck rack with lel meter for vapors,other trucks in the <br /> Immediate Actions Taken: rack were removed.The truck involved was cleaned and cleanup operations were begun. <br /> The driver was questioned and information is still being investigated. Notifications were <br /> made to Rich Brandes, HSE Director and Mike Peterson, General Manager.National <br /> response center was notified,and report#804486 was recorded.
