Box 388 i
304 East Weber Avenue
Stockton, CA 95201-388
Subject: Drilling Permit and Fees for Subsurface Investigation
Mariposa Road, Between Kaiser and Jack Tone Roads
Collegeville, San.Joaquin County, California.
Dear Mr. Knoll:
Apex Envirotech, Inc. (Apex), has been authorized by Boyett Petroleum(Boyett)to drill and
sample 7 soil borings at the above referenced site. A Results Report and Workplan was submitted
to you, dated September 26, 1995. In this Report,Apex had proposed 7 soil probes. Apex is
changing this to 7 soil borings. The purpose of this change is that the cost for the two methods at
this site a are relatively the same, and soil borings will be able to penitrate most soil conditions. All
seven soil borings will be pressure grouted.
Enclosed is a check in the amount of$90 for boring permit fees. Also enclosed is a site map and
permit application. Apex proposes to drill the site either October 13 or October 19, 1995. This is
due to drill rig availability. If you have any questions or comments, please call us-at(916)
535-0200.
Sincerely,
Cpm
Tom E.
