Joe Ormonde with Ramos PE 2546 BACKUS <br /> 30 min Environmental; Mitch Slater, Director of Maintenance and Operations of Lodi SC 544 <br /> Unified School District(LUSD); Jill Davis, Risk Management Analyst of LUSD on <br /> site. 47 drums of HW generated so far and this waste is being stored in the LUSD <br /> service yard north of the fire location. <br /> 12/15/2017 5 pm - 9:30 pm. A vacuum truck was used to clean the driveway and soil PE 2546 BACKUS <br /> 270 min immediately north of the storage box that was on fire. A ten foot by one foot by SC 944 <br /> several inch deep section of soil was excavated adjacent to the fence on the <br /> soccer field side. A several inch layer of soil was also removed along the fence on <br /> the south side, away from the soccer field. The impacted storm drain riser was <br /> cleaned out and several inches of soil were removed. No standing water was <br /> observed in the storm drain riser and no liquid appeared to go into the lateral. <br /> Approximately 15 more 55-gallon drums were filled with aerosol cans and other <br /> cleaning chemicals damaged by the fire. Ten 55-gallon drums were filled with the <br /> contaminated soil or rinse water. A total of 69 drums were used to store the <br /> waste. The drums were labeled as hazardous waste and stored on site in a <br /> maintenance yard north of the fire location. <br /> Joe Ormonde and Jill Davis took several soil samples from the soccer field to <br /> determine if contamination remains.
