San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) personnel responded quickly. Over 20,000 gallons of crude oil equivalent to 500 <br /> barrels leaked from the pipeline. The visible area of release was approximately 250 feet <br /> by 40 feet. <br /> EHD responds to incidents involving hazardous material releases and performs an <br /> assessment to evaluate actual or potential environmental contamination and/or human <br /> exposure. EHD is currently monitoring the clean-up status of the oil spill. <br />
