<br /> Sum rnary of Risks: Liquid xylene is a skin irritant and causes erythema,dryness,and defatting;prolonged contact may cause
<br /> blistering,Inhaling xylene can depress the cental nervous system(CNS),and ingesting it can result in gastrointestinal disturbance;and
<br /> possibly hematcmcsis(vomiting blood).Effects on the eyes,kidneys,liver,lungs, and the CN$are also reported. Medical Conditions
<br /> Aggravated by Long-Term Exposure: Problems with eyes,skin,central nervous system,kidney's,and liver may be worsened by
<br /> exposure to xylene, Target Organs: CNS,eyes,gastrointestinal tract,blood,liver,kidneys,skin. Primary Entry: Inhalation,
<br /> skin contact/absorption. Acute Effects: Dizziness;excitement;drowsiness;incoordination;staggering gait;irritation of eyes,nose,
<br /> and throat;coMeal vacuolization;anorexia;nausea;vomiting;abdominal pain;and dermatitis. Chronic Effects: Reversible eye
<br /> damage,headache,foss of appetite,nervousness,pale skin,and skin rash.
