In the CountyAssessors Records, for the
t years 1963, 1968 and 1974 is a listing of a 500-gallon underground fuel storage tank (UST)
valued to the property. No record was found as to the disposition of the tank. However, it
was reportedly filled with cement and left in place._ A site inspection revealed evidence of
what appears to be a former fill pipe plugged with concrete`and a former pump dispenser pad
capped with concrete. A magnetometer survey showed evidence of a small"size tank oriented
r+ west of the fill pipe structure. (see Figures 1 & 2).
On July 12, 2005, V&W Drilling and Geological Technics Inc. (GTI) personnel mobilized to
the site to advance three GeoProbe boreholes (GP-1, GP-2 &GP-3;). The locations are shown
on the Site Map (Figure 2). Each of the three GeoProbe borings was advanced to a total
depth of 20 feet bgs. Two (2) soil samples from each boring were selected for laboratory
analysis (see- Table l for laboratory results and Appendix; C for data sheets). Logs were
produced for each of the boreholes and these logs are attached as Appendix B.
GTI's preliminary interpretation of the approximate extent of the contamination and soil
types that was included in our August 3, 2005 "Tank Closure Iniestigation" is presented in
Figure 3. GTI has developed the following work plan to further define the lateral and vertical
extent of gasoline and diesel range petroleum hydrocarbons at the site.
3'
f
I
n
 1911
