Broadway, Stockton, CA. <br /> 1.1 Background <br /> While performing site assessment work related to underground storage tanks at the Ryder <br /> ' Truck Rental site, Environmental Science & Engineering (ESE) personnel noticed oil <br /> staining beneath a 1,000 gallon capacity aboveground waste oil tank. The source of the <br /> oil appeared to be overfill and spillage around the tank. Ryder requested that ESE <br /> supervise the removal of the tank and assess the extent of oily soil. Ryder also requested <br /> ' that ESE direct the excavation and proper disposal of the soil containing waste oil. <br /> ' 1 <br /> t <br />
