The program entails
"blind" submittals to the laboratory of blank and duplicate samples. N&spiked samples will be supplied
li
from the field for this investigation. The laboratory in-housejQC program will include analysis of
spiked samples. All QC samples will be assigned independent sample numbers and made
,I
indistinguishable from non-QC samples. I
i
When sampling groundwater, travel blanks will be used to detect the introduction of contaminants
during transportation from the field to the laboratory. The travel blanks will be provided by the
II
analytical laboratory. They will be taken to the field and accompany the collected groundwater
samples to the laboratory for analysis. The blanks will consist of deionized water and analytically
confirmed organic-free water. The blank is numbered, packaged, and "sealed in the same manner as the
other samples.
,F
I'
i
t
3!
WaAdmin\Shel1s1QAQC-98-D0C
:g
t
1 '
