The truck tires stored at the south end of Area C (on current permit map) did not meet the 10- <br /> foot setback requirement. <br /> Section 17354(e) (Storage of Waste Tires Outdoors)-"Tire storage piles containing 500 or more waste tires <br /> shall be located at least 50 feet from lot lines and buildings, unless the facility is a waste tire facility described in <br /> subsections(1) through (4)."The pile containing 2" shreds was 21'from the lot line and did not meet the 50-foot <br /> setback requirement. <br /> Section 17354(f)(Storage of Waste Tires Outdoors)-"Any individual waste tire pile shall be separated from any <br /> other waste tire pile, combustible ground vegetation, stored used tires, waste tire material, or products made <br /> from tires, by a distance of at least 40 feet."Truck tires stored at the south end of Area C on current permit map) <br /> had less than the required 40-foot separation from flammable materials including vegetation and wooden pallets. <br /> Section 17354(i)(Storage of Waste Tires Outdoors) -"Tires must be removed from rims immediately upon <br /> arrival at the waste tire facility or solid waste facility. Tires temporarily attached to rims awaiting removal shall be <br /> stored separate from other waste tires."Tires with rims were found in one waste tire pile commingled with waste <br /> tires without rims. <br />
