It is used as a sewer lift station, as part the cities <br /> sanitary sewer system. The south wall of the building which house the lift station is failing due to corrosion of the <br /> reinforcing steel and degradation of the concrete. In order to facilitate the design of a new wall, and temporary shoring <br /> needed during the walls construction, a geotechnical study of the soil and groundwater conditions adjacent to the wall <br /> will be performed.
