The report has been prepared as
required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) by letter to
Mr. Robert Strong, dated 13 November 2006.
This report was prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board-
` Central Valley Region (CVRWQCB)'s recommendations and guidelines for the investigation of
UST sites. Excavation of the former gasoline UST area was
conducted between 30 May and 01 June 2006, and monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-2 were
reinstalled on 26 September 2006. Portland cement was used to fill the boring to surface grade. The borings were
over-drilled by Cascade Drilling, Inc. utilizing a CME-75 limited access drill rig (LAR) equipped
with 8.25-inch hollow stem augers.
V
2.2. EXCAVATION OF HYDROCARBON-IMPACTED SOIL
Petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil was excavated at the site by Valued Engineering of Stockton,
California,utilizing an excavator.
