INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Messrs. Robert and Mike Strong,Advanced GcoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan-September 2008 for the site located at 5157 <br /> West Business Loop 205, Tracy, California(site). The site and the surrounding area are illustrated <br /> in Figure 1. Structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. Quarterly <br />+ monitoring data from July 1998 to the present are summarized in Tables 1 through 3 of this report. <br /> r Site background information is included in Appendix A. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(E 6)has directed,by letter dated 28 <br /> July 2008, preparation of a work plan to further investigate the vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater at the site and to verify ground water analytical results collected <br /> from the November 2007 cone penetrometer testing (CPT) investigation. <br /> I <br /> This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and pi ocedui es for the installation of two <br /> depth discreet ground water monitoring wells, collection of soil`samples,collection and analysis of <br /> ground water samples.The plan was prepared in accordance with,California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board-Central Valley Region(CRWQCB)guidelines for the 'investigation of underground <br /> storage tank(UST) sites. <br /> F <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> E <br /> I <br /> Based on the analytical data acquired from the November 2007 CPT':investigation (Table 4), the <br /> t SJCEHD has required an additional ground water investigation be performed to define the vertical <br /> extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon contamination. <br /> The proposed scope of work will include the following tasks: <br /> Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Monitoring well installations and sampling; and <br /> • Report preparation. <br /> Each of these tasks is described in greater detail below. <br /> I <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> F <br />
