Robert and Mike Strong,Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. (AGE) has . <br /> prepared this,quarterly report for the property located at 5,157 West Business Loop 205, Tracy, <br /> California. The scope of work included installation, development and survey of four ground water <br />' monitoring wells(MW7 through MW 10),ground water sampling ofmonitoring wells MW 1 through <br /> MW10 and preparation of this report. . The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. <br /> Structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figures 2 and 3. <br /> Background information for the site is summarized in the AGE-prepared document titled Additional <br /> Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum, dated 01 July 1999. Quarterly monitoring data from <br />' July 1998 to the present.is summarized in Tables 1 and 2 of this report. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES , <br /> • Four ground water monitoring wells(MW7 through MW 10)were installed in October 2002,and ten <br /> monitoring wells were purged and sampled on.12 December 2002. All field workp rocedures and " <br /> reporting requirements are in accordance with guidelines issued by.the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for subsurface investigations of underground storage <br /> tank(UST) sites and guidelines issued by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Departrnent <br /> (EHD) for sampling of ground water monitoring wells. <br /> 2.1. DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br /> In'October 2002,pilot'borings MW7 through MW:10 were advanced at the site using aCME-75HT <br /> drill rig,equipped with 8.25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers. The drill rig and two-man crew were <br /> supplied by Mitchell Drilling Environmental.Auger returns generated by drilling were stored on-site <br /> in labeled, 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved'drums r <br /> Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modifiedsplit- oon sampler <br /> loade&with:thrde pre-cleaned 2-inch by'6-inch brass sleeves. The samples were collected from <br /> monitoring well pilot borings MW7 through MW 10 at five-foot intervals, beginning-at,5 feet bsg <br /> I using a I40-pound hammer to advance the sampler.•The number of blows required to advance the <br /> sampler over each 6-inch increment of the 18-inch sampling interval was recorded on the boring <br /> ' logs. 1 <br /> Ad.ced GwEnvkmi Intal,Inc. <br />
