The site is <br /> located within the southeast quarter of Section 24,Township 2 South,Range 5 East, Mount Diablo <br />' Base and Meridian(Vernalis Quadrangle, 7.5-Minute USGS.Topographic Series, 1991). . <br /> One'structure is located on the property and is presently unoccupied' It is our understanding,that the <br /> site historically operated 'as a truck depot. <br /> 2.1. ' REGIONAL GEOLOGICAL/HYDROGEOLOGICAL SETTING <br /> is `According to Geologic Map bf California(1966; California Department of Conservation Division` <br /> of Mines and.Geology), the site.area is within the Great Valley Geomorphic Province (GVGP) of <br /> r' California,a large,elongate,northwest trending structural trough.The GVGP.is subdivided into two <br /> major divisions"designated the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys, which have been filled to.the <br />' present elevation with'thick.sequences of sediment ranging in age from Jurassic to present day, <br /> creating a nearly flat-lying alluvialplain' extending from the Tehachapi Mountains in the south to , <br /> the Klamath Mountains in the north: The western and eastern'boundaries of-this province are <br />' comprised of the California Coast Range and the',Sierra Nevada, respectively. <br /> Based on General..Soil Map (1992, United States Department of Agriculture Soil'Conservation <br /> r Service) obtained from the San Joaquin County Soil Survey,the site area is shown as being within <br /> '• the Capay-Stomas-Zacharias(CSZ)soil association.The CSZ soils are located on interfan basins and' <br /> rAdvanced GeoEnvironmeutal,Inc: <br />
