A generator may accumulate as much as 55 gallons of hazardous waste, one quart of acutely hazardous waste (listed in section 66261.33(e)) or one quart of extremely hazardous waste at or near any point of generation, without a permit or grant of interim status, without complying with subsections (a),(b) and (c) of this section, if all of the following requirements are met with respect to this waste: (C) the initial date of waste accumulation is clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container used for accumulation of hazardous waste. Satellite containers must be marked with the date filled within three days of reaching the applicable quantity limitation. Since it is unknown how long the satellite container has been on site, it is considered to be on site longer than one year, or longer than 90 days after filled. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 03/22/2014. 605 (Repeat) . Missing hazardous property and physical state information on three 55 -gallon drums of organic solid, oily absorbent, and waste anti -freeze. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" 2. name and address of generator 3. hazardous properties 4. physical state 5. composition (contents) 6. accumulation start date Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. This violation was corrected on site. 610 (Repeat). Witnessed one used oil filter in an open coffee can in the gear room. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way and submit evidence of corrective to EHD by 03/22/2014. 902 & 907. Witnessed one basket of waste aerosol cans not stored in a closed container, and the container not marked to identify the content. Waste aerosol cans shall be stored up to one year on site in a closed compatible and structurally sound container, and marked with "Universal Waste - Aerosol Cans", "Waste Aerosol Cans", or "Used aerosol cans". Immediately manage the above waste per this section, and submit evidence of correction to EHD by 03/22/2014. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
