Wilson, Stockton <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />602/603/604. No start date of accumulation or filled date on a satellite used oil container and a satellite <br />anti -freeze container in the truck repair shop. A generator may accumulate as much as 55 gallons of <br />hazardous waste, one quart of acutely hazardous waste (listed in section 66261.33(e)) or one quart of <br />extremely hazardous waste at or near any point of generation, without a permit or grant of interim status, <br />without complying with subsections (a),(b) and (c) of this section, if all of the following requirements are <br />met with respect to this waste: (C) the initial date of waste accumulation is clearly marked and visible for <br />inspection on each container used for accumulation of hazardous waste. Satellite containers must be <br />marked with the date filled within three days of reaching the applicable quantity limitation. Since it is <br />unknown how long the satellite container has been on site, it is considered to be on site longer than one <br />year, or longer than 90 days after filled. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br />dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 03/22/2014. <br />605 (Repeat) . Missing hazardous property and physical state information on three 55 -gallon drums of <br />organic solid, oily absorbent, and waste anti -freeze. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked <br />with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. This violation was corrected on site. <br />610 (Repeat). Witnessed one used oil filter in an open coffee can in the gear room. Used oil filters must <br />be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an <br />accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way and submit <br />evidence of corrective to EHD by 03/22/2014. <br />902 & 907. Witnessed one basket of waste aerosol cans not stored in a closed container, and the <br />container not marked to identify the content. Waste aerosol cans shall be stored up to one year on site <br />in a closed compatible and structurally sound container, and marked with "Universal Waste - Aerosol <br />Cans", "Waste Aerosol Cans", or "Used aerosol cans".
