TELEPHONE#: <br /> TYPE OF INSPECTION: ❑X COMPLAINT ❑ CONSULTATION 0 OTHER PROGRAM 1322 RECORD 000042453 <br /> ELEMENT: ID#: <br /> NATURE OF COMPLAINT/CONSULTATION: <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) conducted an inspection on a <br /> complaint that the top floor of buildings 2, 3 & 4, the lobby and various conference rooms have <br /> ceiling leaks, there is a broken window in room 178, broken door locks in rooms 158 and 178, and <br /> that outside of building 4, near room 172, there is an extension cord plugged into an exterior outlet <br /> and running across the sidewalk and lawn and into a manhole cover. <br /> OBSERVATIONS/COMMENTS: <br /> On February 28, 2017, the EHD sent an alleging letter to the property owner informing them of the <br /> complaint that had been received. EHD was notified a few weeks later that all repairs had been <br /> done. The inspection revealed that patches and repairs had been done to ceilings in the lobby and <br /> various conference rooms. EHD was told patches had been made to the roof also, but that the all <br /> roofs were going to be replaced this coming summer. The rooms on the top floors of buildings 2, 3 & <br /> 4 that have leaks in the ceilings are not being used for guests. The broken window and broken locks <br /> have been repaired or replaced, window screens are on order for the several noted to have tears or <br /> holes in them, and the electrical extension cord has been buried. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br /> Repair or replace the roof, under permit and inspection by the San Joaquin County Community <br /> Development Department (CDD), to eliminate all leaks into the building.
