All samples will be collected, documented, stored and transported under chain-of-custody using appropriate QA/QC techniques, and personnel hygiene and safety measures. Decontamination of equipment will be done between each quadrant. ON-SITE SAFE'T'Y ORGANIZATION AND COORDINATION The following personnel are designated to carry out the stated job functions on site. (NOTE: One person may carry out more than on job function.) A "tailgate" review of this safety plan will be conducted with all personnel on site prior to the start of work. All personnel will sign the attached signature sheet to indicate their understanding of the safety plan and procedures. No unauthorized personnel will be allowed on the site. The site perimeter is fenced. The entrance gate is to be closed and locked at all times. VEHICLE OPERATION SAFETY All vehicles will be operated according to commonly accepted operating procedures. Care will be taken when operating vehicles on levee or berm roads. Roads may be slick or slippery if wet from rain. Vehicles should not enter roads where safe operation cannot be assured. EMERGENCY RESPONSE Personnel Injury: Notify Project Team Leader or Site Safety Officer. They will assess nature of the injury. If 'Injury is in the area of operating equipment, the equipment will be stopped or shut down to eliminate running equipment hazard. The equipment will remain shut down until
