WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS ORDER NO.R5-2003-0044 -7- <br /> GENERAL ORDER FOR LAND DISPOSAL <br /> OF GROUNDWATER OR SURFACE WATER <br /> FROM CLEANUP OF PETROLEUM FUEL POLLUTION <br /> 3. Bypass or overflow of untreated or partially treated waste is prohibited. <br /> 4. The discharge shall not cause the degradation of any individual or municipal water <br /> supply. <br /> 5. The surfacing of treated/untreated wastewater resulting from subsurface <br /> disposal/treatment of petroleum polluted ground or surface water is prohibited. <br /> 6. Ponding/ponding of treated/untreated effluent on the ground surface in any location <br /> other than that approved by Regional Board staff is prohibited. <br /> 7. Runoff of water from the permitted discharge area is prohibited. <br /> 8. Creation of pollution, contamination, or nuisance, as defined by Section 13050 of the <br /> California Water Code, is prohibited. <br /> 9. The export or discharge of wastes or wastewater into a separate groundwater area is <br /> prohibited. <br /> 10. The discharge of treated groundwater that has the potential to degrade the receiving <br /> groundwater quality, is prohibited. <br /> C. EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS <br /> 1.
