• 03#03 02:47pm P. 002
ECM group
March 9, 2003
Michael Infurna, Senior REHS
Site Mitigation Unit IV/LOP
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
304 E. Weber Street
Stockton, California 952.02
Re: Work Plan Addendum
PG & E Trench Project
Byron Road, Tracy, California
Dear Mr, Infurna:
ECM Group (ECM) has prepared this work plan addendum to provide additional
information for the upcoming soil and ground water sampling at the subject site.
The following items address comments on the work plan submitted for this project.
1 . A vicinity map and site plan are attached. The site plan was reduced from
blueprints of the planned trenching work. Boring locations are spaced
approximately 100 ft apart along the trench alignment..
2. ECM has contacted PG&E staff to obtain a copy of the encroachment permit
for the trenching project. The encroachment permit will be forwarded to
your office directly by PG&E or City of Tracy staff.
3. Soil cuttings generated during the drilling work will be stockpiled on and
covered with visqueen. The soil will be stored on site pending the analytic
results. The soil cuttings will be added to trench spoils for reuse as backfill,
unless the analytic result's indicate that an alternative disposal method is
required.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this permit. Please call if you have any
questions.
Sincere 'l
EC ro
L~hYe J.
