M. Scott Mansholt 0 - 2 - 0 8 March 2005
ChevronTexaco
Mountain House Site#1
Results of sampling and monitoring of the treatment system influent (pre-treatment) water from all of the
wells have been non detect for petroleum constituents for several months.
Based on our review, we have the following comments:
• Discharge of groundwater extracted by the remaining dewatering wells removed from the
treatment system, shall be continue to be applied to Field G or other nearby land; and,
• Written documentation shall be provided to Regional Board staff within 30 days describing the
abandonment of the dewatering wells.
We concur with the proposal to remove the dewatering wells from the treatment system and direct the
extracted groundwater to Field G. By 1 April 2005 please provide documentation describing
abandonment of the dewatering wells outlined above.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Dean Hubbard at (559) 445 - 5179.
SHELTON R.
