Chevron Pipeline Easement Environmental Assessment Report <br /> November 21,2001 <br /> Page 8 <br /> 4.2 LABORATORY ANALYTICAL RESULTS <br /> 4.2.1 Soil Sample Analytical Results <br /> Laboratory analytical results indicate that, in soil samples collected from 17 soil borings with visual <br /> contamination, TEPH-C was detected at concentrations ranging from 470 mg/kg to 29,000 mg/kg. <br /> TEPH-C was detected at a concentration of 11 mg/kg, near the laboratory detection limit, in a soil <br /> sample collected from an 18th soil boring. TEPH-C was detected at concentrations of 13 mg/kg, 65 <br /> mg/kg, and 150 mg/kg in soil samples collected from three additional soil borings in which there was no <br /> - visible soil contamination. Benzene, toluene, and xylenes were detected at concentrations of 0.2 mg/kg, <br /> 0.037 mg/kg, and 0.2 mg/kg, respectively, in the soil samples collected from soil boring GP152. BTEX <br /> constituents were not detected at or above the laboratory practical quantitation limit in any other soil <br /> �- sample. Detectable concentrations of PNAs in the 18 soil samples analyzed for PNAs ranged from 0.007 <br /> mg/kg to 16 mg/kg. Soil sample analytical results for samples that contained detectable concentrations of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons are presented in Table 3 and Table 4.
