Goggles will be worn during steamcleaning operations. If <br /> required,the remaining personal protective equipment shall be put on before entering the immediate <br /> work area. The sleeves of the coveralls shall be outside of the cuffs of the gloves to facilitate <br /> removal of clothing. If at any time protective clothing(coverall,boots or gloves)becomes torn,wet, <br /> ' or excessively soiled, they will be replaced immediately. <br /> No eating,drinking or smoking will be allowed in the vicinity ofthe drilling operations. The project <br /> geologist will designate a separate area on-site for eating and drinking. Smoking will not be allowed <br /> at the facility except in designated areas. No contact lenses will in worn by field personnel. <br /> B-5 Cl eanup/Decontamination Procedures: At the end ofthe <br /> will be workday,the following procedures <br /> used to allow for the safe removal and decontamination ofpersonal protective equipment that <br /> may have been required. <br /> • Boots and gloves will be washed with a Alconox® detergent and tap water, then rinsed <br /> before removal. <br /> • Boot covers and coveralls will be removed and coveralls placed in a plastic bag for <br /> ' appropriate disposal. <br /> • Gloves will then be removed and placed in the plastic bag; hands will be washed with soap <br /> ' and water. <br /> • Spent protective clothing will be stored on-site in 55-gallon drums and properly disposed of <br /> after receipt of laboratory analyses. <br /> B-6 Person Responsible for Health and Safety at Site: Twining's project geologist will be the <br /> designated site safety officer. His/Her responsibilities will include implementation of the site safety <br /> work plan for Twining personnel involved with the field operations. <br /> B-7 Site Safety Meetin : Twining's designated site safety officer will conduct a site safety <br /> meeting prior to commencing work. All Twining personnel involved in the field work shall attend <br /> the site safety meeting and sign the attendance sheet.
