California St. CUF#: 8492
Stockton, CA 95203 APN: 14909501
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed First Quarter
2015 Monitoring Report (OMR) dated May 15, 2015, prepared by Foothill Engineering. QMR
contains findings of the monitoring well groundwater sampling event performed on March 5,
2015 related to the subject site.
In QMR, Foothill Engineering recommended continued use of the pump and treat remediation
system and preparation of a work plan to assess soil vapor intrusion to address an impediment
to case closure in accordance with the Low-Threat Underground Storage Tank Case Closure
Policy. The EHD concurs with these recommendations,
The EHD directs that total depth is measured for each monitoring well at least once per year to
check for silting of the well casing or obstructions in the well. Proper decontamination
procedures should address any concern of cross-contamination between wells during collection
of measurements. In addition, the EHD is of the opinion that there is sufficient information
available for Foothill Engineering to provide reasonable screen interval measurements in
reports. Please re-evaluate well construction details and revise in future reports as necessary.
Please contact Gabriel Gonzalez at (209) 468-3442 or gagonzalez@sjcehd.com if you have any
questions.
A4
Gabriel Gonzalez, REHS Nuel C.
