SOxygenates except Xylene was 1.1 ppb.
Conclusions
The extraction well has influence with all areas that are contaminated and has the ability to remove
the plume. The filter has the ability to treat the ground water to E.P.A.drinking water levels.
Recommendations
It is recommended that the EW-1 be used to remove the plume. It is also recommend that a two
stage activated carbon filter be used to treat the ground water instead of the single pass filter used
in the test. It is important to note that the influence area is directly related to the flow of the
extraction well. The well is capable of sustaining 14 gpm. The test data indicates that 14gpm is
required to provide influence at MW-8S. Currently the city sewer operator is allowing discharges
of only 10 gpm, which may not be enough to provide influence to MW-8S, and could require a
second extraction well to influence that area.
Please contact Mike Vlach at(916) 729-5184 if you have any questions on this report.
Respectfully submitted,
Foothill Engineerin pFES 10 q
C 57707
Mike Vlach, PE EXP.12-31-45
sT CIV1 /1y
Attachments:Groundwater Groundwater clysis Recap,Site Maps,Del-Tech Monitoring Report,Lab Reports,
Pump Test Print Outs
cc: Michael D. & Sharon Olivarez, 436 W.
