CONCLUSIONS
The groundwater elevation in all of the wells is approximately 0.8 feet lower than the last sampling
' event. It is typical for Fall groundwater elevations to be lower than Spring and Summer elevations
in the City of Stockton.
Up gradient monitoring well MW-3R has produced samples with higher concentrations of TPHg
than last tested. The down gradient monitoring well MW-5 has higher concentrations of TPHg than
when last analyzed.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAMPLING
It is recommended that quarterly water sampling be continued on only the replacement wells and
MW-5 and MW-6. Sampling of the original monitoring wells(MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3) should
only be resumed if the groundwater elevation drops and the over screen condition has been
eliminated.
RECEPTOR SURVEY INFORMATION REPORT
Please find below the procedure and results of a survey to determine groundwater receptors within
2000 feet of the subject site.
PROCEDURE USED IN THIS SURVEY
iThis survey was conducted by interview and data review of the California Department of Water
Resources well construction records. The records of the California Water Service Co. and the San
Joaquin County Departments of Public Health Services, and Flood Control were also used.
San Joaquin County Department of Flood Control provided information on the water wells they use
to determine groundwater elevation. California Water Service Co. (CWS)provided information on
the active wells in use located on the NW corner of Center Street and Anderson Street. CWS also
provided information on their well number 30-01 located near Scott and American Streets which has
been abandoned.
Ms. Ann Roth of the California Department of Water Resources provided information from Well
Driller Reports on file in their records. This information was gathered by personal interview of Ms.
Roth and the review of the files at her office in Sacramento.
The records from San Joaquin County Department of Health Services were reviewed with the help
of Ms. Linda Turkatte. All the water well records were 'searched for any flings on the well records
located at DWR.
FINDINGS
The search of DWR files produced well drilling records for eight water wells(See list attached). Two
of these wells were found in the San Joaquin County Flood Control records and are owned by
California Water Service.CWS Well No.30-01,located at Scott Street and Anderson Street has been
1. abandoned. CWS Well No. 37•-01 is more than 2000' from property under study and is part of the
active domestic water system operated by CWS.
2
