The well listed as Sierra Theater is being used,as per an employee of the building. The building now
houses the Soloris Furniture Store.
Repeated calls to the Fox Theater could not produce any information on the present status of that
well.
No information is available for the well listed as owned by Dahl Burnham and located in the
Stockton Courthouse Square.
The address given for the Stockton Dry Goods well does not exist.Main Street has been extensively
changed since 1949 and this well may likely be a victim of the redesign.
The address given for the Chinese Assoc.is now a vacant lot.No power drops or pressure tanks were
found at this location.
The City of Stockton Police Department building maintenance personnel were interviewed by this
author concerning the well listed as in the basement of that building. No one had any knowledge of
this water well. This well may have been installed as part of bomb shelter in 1972. We d Jt*"#J
A canvas of the immediate two block area from the 300 S. California Street site found no evidence
of any water wells in that area that were not recorded with DWR.
CONCLUSIONS FROM THIS RECEPTOR SURVEY
The only known active well down slope from this site under investigation is the 520 East Main St.
location, known as Soloris Furniture. This well is about 1300' Northeast of the 300 S. California
Street. It is very unlikely that this well is affected by the UST spill at the 300 S.California Street site.
A map showing the locations of the wells surveyed is attached along with a listing for each well.
Any questions on this report should be directed to Ervin Rifenburg,at Foothill Engineering 209/368-
9381.
Respectfully submitted,
Foo ngin Qposstpya
t
' co m
Ervin Rifenbur , PE Exp.
cc: Olivarez a
q OFCA1
3
