The well listed as Sierra Theater is being used,as per an employee of the building.The building now <br /> houses the Soloris Furniture Store. <br /> Repeated calls to the Fox Theater could not produce any information on the present status of that <br /> well. <br /> No information is available for the well listed as owned by Dahl Burnham and located in the <br /> Stockton Courthouse Square. <br /> The address given for the Stockton Dry Goods well does not exist.Main Street has been extensively <br /> changed since 1949 and this well may likely be a victim of the redesign. <br /> The address given for the Chinese Assoc.is now a vacant lot.No power drops or pressure tanks were <br /> found at this location. <br /> The City of Stockton Police Department building maintenance personnel were interviewed by this <br /> author concerning the well listed as in the basement of that building.No one had any knowledge of <br /> this water well. This well may have been installed as part of bomb shelter in 1972. We d Jt*"#J <br /> A canvas of the immediate two block area from the 300 S. California Street site found no evidence <br /> of any water wells in that area that were not recorded with DWR. <br /> CONCLUSIONS FROM THIS RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> The only known active well down slope from this site under investigation is the 520 East Main St. <br /> location, known as Soloris Furniture. This well is about 1300' Northeast of the 300 S.
