13 September 2012
AGE-NC Project No.99-0682
4.2.2. Progress-ISCO: Analytical Results - 07 June 2012
On 07 June 2012, groundwater samples were collected from wells MW-1 A, MW-6, MW-7
and MW-8. The following is a summary of the analytical results:
• TPH-g were detected in the samples collected from wells MW-1A, MW-6, MW-7
and MW-8 at concentrations between 260 Ng/I (MW-6) micrograms per liter (pg/1)
and 93,000 pg/1 (MW-1A).
• TPH-d were detected in the samples collected from wells MW-1A, MW-7 and MW-8
at concentrations between 1,230 pg/I (MW-7) and 29,000 pg/I (MW-1 A).
• One or more BTEX compound was detected in samples collected from MW-1A,
MW-6, MW-7, MW-8 at maximum concentrations of 820 pg/I benzene (MW-7),
5,400 pg/I toluene (MW-1A), 780 pg/I ethylbenzene (MW-1A) and 4,500 pg/I total
xylenes (MW-1A).
• TAME was detected in samples collected from well MW-7 at a concentrations of
7.0 pg/l.
• 1,2-DCA was detected in samples collected from wells MW-7 and MW-8 at
concentrations of 13 pg/I and 11 pg/I, respectively.
• Various metals were detected in samples collected from wells MW-1A, MW-6,
MW-7, and MW-8; Fe and Al increased significantly in samples collected from well
MW-8 compared to baseline concentrations, while concentrations of Fe decreased
in well MW-1A compared to baseline results. CrVI and Cr were not detected above
laboratory reporting limits in the samples collected (Table 4).
• Anions (bromate, bromide, chloride, nitrate, nitrate as nitrogen, nitrate as NO3
sulfate, ammonia, and TDS) were detected in the samples collected from wells
MW-1A, MW-6, MW-7 and MW-8. Generally, anion concentrations decreased
(bromate and bromide) or remained stable in MW-1A; increased slightly (bromate
and bromide) or remained stable in MW-6 and MW-7, and increased in MW-8
compared to baseline concentrations (Table 5).
4.2.3. Progress-ISCO: Analytical Results - 21 June 2012
On 21 June 2012, groundwater samples were collected from wells MW-1A, MW-6, MW-7
and MW-8. The following is a summary of the analytical results:
• TPH-g were detected in the samples collected from wells MW-1A, MW-6 and MW-7
Advanced GeoEnvironmen[al,Inc.
