:i <br /> N <br /> Page 2, 602 California Street <br /> Also proposed in the Addendum is the installation of two additional groundwater <br /> monitoring wells, as requested by SJC/EHD , to monitor the sand interval at 60-70 feet <br /> bsg . One well will be located near MW-1A and one will be located near MW-6 . SJC/EHD <br /> approves the installation of these two wells. Installation of four vapor extraction wells, <br /> and conducting two vapor extraction tests, has already been approved. SJC/EHD does <br /> not approve installation of the air sparge well or conducting the air sparge test at this time . <br /> SJC/EHD recommends the intermediate groundwater monitoring wells be installed , and <br /> after sample results from these wells are reported , a Feasibility Study can be prepared <br /> addressing the full extent of the groundwater contamination at this site. <br /> Please proceed with submittal of a SJC/EHD well permit application , required $89. 00 <br /> permit fee, $285. 00 permit inspection fee and with scheduling the approved work. <br /> Deadline for installation of the wells and conducting the SVE pilot tests is May 31 , 2007. <br /> A report of findings must be submitted within 60 days following completion of all fieldwork. <br /> If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337. <br /> Donna Heran , REHS , Director <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> Lori Duncan , Senior REHS Nuel C.
