07 March 2014
AGE Project No . 99-0682
Street , approximately 230 feet northeast of MW- 10 ; the boring will advanced to
approximately 70 feet bsg for the collection of grab groundwater samples to
assess the down-gradient lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted
groundwater.
• One soil boring will be advanced at 520 East Park Street, approximately 150 feet
north-northeast of MW- 11 . If access to 520 East Park Street cannot be secured
the boring will be relocated to the city of Stockton sidewalk along Park Street,
approximately 270 feet north-northeast of MW- 11 ; the boring will advanced to
approximately 70 feet bsg for the collection of grab groundwater samples to
assess the down-gradient lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted
groundwater.
Proposed soil boring locations and alternate soil boring locations are depicted in
Figure 3 . Soil samples will not be collected during boring advancement.
it
2 . 3 . LABORATORY ANALYSIS
Grab groundwater samples will be analyzed by a California Department of Public Health
(CDPH )-certified laboratory for the following constituents :
• TPH -g and TPH -d in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified ;
• BTEX and fuel additives methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) , di-isopropyl ether
(DIPE) , ethyl tertiary-butyl ether ( ETBE) , tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME) ,
tertiary butanol (TBA) , ethylene dibromide ( EDB) , and 1 , 2- DCA in accordance
with EPA Method 8260B .
Laboratory reports for water analyses , testing methods , laboratory quality
assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports , and sample chain-of-custody documentation
will be presented in a report with the findings and recommendations . Electronic
deliverable format ( EDF) files of the laboratory analytical results will be submitted to the
State of California GeoTracker database .
3. 0 . PROCEDURES
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of
a California Professional Geologist. Procedures for advancing soil probe borings ,
collection and analysis of groundwater samples , equipment decontamination and
sample handling are presented below.
Advanced GeoEnvlronnlental Inc.
