30 January 2014
AGE Project No. 99-0682
At concentrations as high as 16 mg/kg , 220 mg/kg , 67 mg/kg and 360 mg/kg ,
respectively. Toluene was detected in the 25-foot soil sample collected from MW-2
at a concentration of 0. 0085 mg/kg .
• November 2009 - One soil boring (CPT- 1 ) was advanced on-site utilizing CPT
v technology to model the geological and hydrogeologic framework and to assess
potential dissolved petroleum-migration pathways beneath the site . Lithologic data
was collected from the boring . A twin boring was then advanced to collect grab
groundwater samples from selected depths Groundwater samples were collected
from CPT-1 at the following intervals : 71 feet to 74 feet bsg , 104 feet to 106 feet
bsg , 126 feet to 129 feet bsg and 145 feet to 148 feet bsg . .
TPH-g was detected in all fourwater samples collected at concentrations of 16, 000
pg/I , 500 pg/I , 460 pg/I and 140 , 000 pg/I , respectively. TPH-d was detected in three
of the water samples collected at concentrations as high as 40, 000 pg/I. BTEX
compounds were detected in all the water samples collected at concentrations as
high as 560 pg/I benzene , 12 , 000 pg/I toluene, 3 , 000 pg/I ethylbenzene and
15, 000 pg/I total xylenes . DIPE was detected in the water sample collected from
126-129 feet bsg at a concentration of 1 .4 pg/I . EDB was detected in the sample
collected from 145-148 feet bsg , at a concentration of 86 pg/I . 1 ,2-DCA was
detected in the water samples collected from 71 -74 feet bsg , 126- 129 feet bsg and
145- 148 feet bsg at concentrations of 1 . 3 pg/l , 1 . 8 pg/I and 11 pg/l , respectively.
V June 2002 - Two groundwater monitoring wells (MW-5 and MW-6) were installed
at the site. MW-5 and MW-6 are screened from 20 feet to 40 feet bsg . A total of
three soil samples were collected from boring MW-5 during the investigation . No
analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits .
June 2004 - Soil borings CPT-2 , CPT-3 and CPT-4 were advanced on-site utilizing
CPT technology to model the geological and hydrogeologic framework and to
assess potential dissolved petroleum-migration pathways beneath the site.
Lithologic data was collected from the initial borings . Twin borings were then
advanced adjacent to the initial boring to collect grab groundwater samples from
selected depths. Groundwater samples were collected from CPT-2 at 105 to 109
feet bsg , 127 to 131 feet bsg , and 172 to 176 feet bsg ; groundwater samples were
collected from CPT-3 at 179 to 183 feet bsg , and 195 to 199 feet bsg ; and from
CPT-4 at 76 to 80 feet bsg , 143 to 147 feet bsg , and 189 feet and 193 feet bsg .
TPH-g was detected in all the groundwater samples collected from CPT-3 and
CPT-4, at concentrations ranging from 5,900 pg/I in HU4 to 120 , 000 pg/I in HU8 and
HU9/10 . TPH-d was detected in the water samples collected from CPT-3 and CPT-4
at concentrations ranging from 1 ,700 pg/I in HU4 to 80 , 000 pg/I in HU8 . BTEX
constituents were detected in all the groundwater samples collected from CPT-3
Advanced GeoCnvironmental, Inc.
