GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
During the soil assessment activities, if hydrocarbon-impacted soil extends to ground water, at least
one "grab" ground water sample will be collected and submitted for laboratory analysis. Ground
water sample collection procedures are presented in Section 4.3.
Groundwater samples will be analyzed by a State of California DTSC-certified laboratory for the
following constituents:
• TPH-d by EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030;
• TPH-g by EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030;
• BTEX by EPA Method 602; and
• Oxygenating compounds including MTBE,TBA,DIPE,ETBE,and TAME by EPA Method
8260.
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report
Advanced GeoE nviron mental,Inc.
