Concentrations of PCB',s and OCPs, where detected, were well
below Title 22 levels. Concentrations of metals were consistent with regional background concentrations
(based on data gathered from other projects in the same vicinity), with the exception of lead. Lead
F' deposits from a fire other concentrating procedures on the former Site are likely the cause of the elevated
lead concentration in sample 4633-10-4. Condor considers the ,initial analytical result for composite
sample 4633-(1, 2, 3, 4) of 220 mg/kg lead. to be invalid, anomalous, and irreproducible based on the
subsequent discrete and second composite results for lead.
6.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
Condor recommends an additional in situcharacterization
s t or ex situ soil to be performed around
sample 4633-10-4 to further define the volume of the lead concentration in the sample area.
Based on the laboratory analytical results, the remainder of the excavated soil from the Site should
be acceptable for use as clean fill soil off Site. However, the analytical results should be provided to
anyone who receives this soil.
1 CONDOR
