Soil below USTs showed dark stains and had <br /> hydrocarbon odors. UST-1 was used to hold Stoddard Solvent (SS) for <br /> use in dry cleaner operations and UST-2 was used to hold gasoline for <br /> delivery truck use. <br /> 06/13/1996 EHD Unit III reviews soil laboratory results. Total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and SS present at levels that fail <br /> leaching potential. Unauthorized Release Form, "96-U21" and <br /> Proposition 65 Notification # 96-09 filed. <br /> 06/21/1996 Date of"Dirty" letter sent to facility operator, Mr. Nathan Smoot. <br /> 07/01/1996 Date of the EHD Unit IV official Notice of Reimbursement sent to <br /> landowner, Mr. Norman Higgins dvising of site entry into the EHD's <br /> Local Oversight Program (LOP). Site assigned to Linda Turkette, RENS. <br /> 07/30/1996 Date of Phase 1 Site Investigation Work Plan submitted to the EHD to <br /> install soil boring BH-1 and monitoring well, MW-1 in areas of each <br /> former UST pit. <br /> 08/20/1996 Date of the EHD work plan approval letter. <br /> 11/08/1996 Monitoring weli MW-1 installed. <br /> 02/20/1997 Date of Report of Phase 1 Site Monitoring submitted by consultant, <br /> Foothill Engineering (Foothill). <br /> 03/06/1997 Date of the EHD letter commer ting on the soil borings and MW-1 <br /> installation. The EHD required additional monitoring wells and soil <br /> borings to be installed to continue the soil and groundwater plume <br /> delineation investigation <br /> 04/04/1997 Date of the State Water Resourc s Control Board (SWRCB) Clean Up <br /> Fund (CUF) letter of commitment.
