3164 Gold Camp I m Drive <br /> DEC 31 2001 suite 200 <br /> fiancho Cordova CA 95670 6021 <br /> !#%Rni <br /> Consronants,I ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH 9 5A <br /> Consultants,Inc. 9161638-2085 <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES FAX 9161638-8385 <br /> December 20, 2001 <br /> Mr Samuel Savig <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject Groundwater Assessment Report <br /> ARCO Facility No 2186 <br /> 3212 North California Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Project No D000-330 <br /> Dear Mr Savig <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), on behalf of Atlantic Richfield Company <br /> (ARCO), is submitting this Soil and Groundwater Assessment Report documenting <br /> subsurface environmental assessment activities performed at ARCO Facility No 2186 <br /> The site is located at 3212 North California Street, Stockton, California (Figure 1) In <br /> response to San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD) letters dated November 30, 1999 and January 31, 2000, the IT Group (IT) <br /> prepared a Well Installation and Feasibility Test Work Plan (dated February 10, 2000) for <br /> the Site IT also conducted a search of the California Department of Water Resources <br /> (DWR) confidential well driller's report files in order to locate water production wells in <br /> the vicinity of the site The search located two water production wells in Oak Park, north <br /> and northeast of the ARCO facility Delta subsequently submitted a Work Plan for <br /> Additional Groundwater Assessment and Feasibility Testing (dated July 14, 2000), <br /> replacing the February 10, 2000 Work Plan Delta's Work Plan was approved by <br /> PHS/EHD in a letter dated March 6, 2001 This report documents the findings and <br /> conclusions of the additional groundwater assessment activities <br /> The subject site is currently an active ARCO service station Current site facilities <br /> consist of a station building, two dispenser islands, and two 10,000-gallon gasoline <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) The current station configuration is shown on <br />. Figure 2 Topography in the site vicinity is flat Nearest surface water is the Calaveras <br /> 5 River, approximately 0 4 miles to the north and 0 6 miles to the west Oak Park is <br /> situated north of the site across Alpine Street <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br />
