1
6 SUMMARY
' The following summarizes the results of this investigation.
• Residual gasoline hydrocarbons have been detected in soil samples collected near the
' USTs. TPHG concentrations ranged from below laboratory detection limits to
3.3 ppm. Benzene concentrations ranged from below laboratory detection limits to
4.019 ppm.
' • Residual gasoline hydrocarbons were not detected in soil samples collected near the
dispenser islands.
' • Groundwater was encountered at approximately 61 feet bgs.
• The groundwater flow direction at the time of measurement was to the east with a
hydraulic gradient of 0.042. Static groundwater was measured at approximately 58 to
59 feet bgs. The flow direction is away from the location of the municipal well.
O TPHG and BTEX compounds were detected in monitoring well MW-1 and total
xylene isomers were detected in monitoring well MW-2. TPHG and BTEX
1 compounds were below laboratory detection limits in the groundwater sample
collected from well MW-3.
1
1
I
SACW NPJft80S08051470.1BS-95\pas:1 Rev.0,216!96
0805-147.01 6-1
