Product Delivery Line and Dispenser Removal and Verification Soil Sampling <br /> Pinnacle proposes to conduct the following scope of work associated with product <br /> delivery line and dispenser removal and verification soil sampling activities <br /> Pinnacle will observe the removal of the existing product delivery lines and dispensers <br /> and collect one soil sample every 20 linear feet beneath the former product lines and one <br /> soil sample beneath each of the former dispensers Soil samples will be collected under <br /> the direction of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services or Fire Department <br /> representative Soil samples will be collected at approximately 1 foot below the former <br /> product lines and dispensers using 2-inch-diameter handauger and hand-operated <br /> percussion sampling equipment The percussion sampler will be equipped with stainless <br /> steel sample tubes and will be driven beyond the bottom of the handaugered borehole The <br /> sample tube will be sealed with Teflon tape and plastic end caps and labeled with project <br /> number, sample designation, and sampling date The sample will be placed in an ice chest <br /> and logged on chain-of-custody documentation Sampling equipment will be <br /> decontaminated between sample locations to prevent cross contamination of samples <br /> Verification soil samples will be submitted to a state-certified analytical laboratory for <br /> analyses of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) and benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) using U S Environmental Protection Agency <br /> (USEPA) Modified Methods 8015 and 8020, respectively, oxygenates (methyl tert butyl <br /> ether, tertiary butyl alcohol, di-isopropyl ether, ethyl tertiary butyl ether, and tertiary amyl <br /> CP lE 1ARC012186\REP0RTS\21&6P101 DOC-9811% 1 <br />
