(Partner), on behalf of White Arrow, has prepared this Additional <br /> Assessment Workplan (Workplan)for the above-referenced site. This Workplan was prepared in response <br /> to a San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) letter dated August 21, 2014, attached <br /> as Appendix A,which directed further site assessment. <br /> This Workplan has been prepared to comply with the California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Division 3, <br /> Chapter 16, Article 11. Activities performed by Partner under this scope of work will be supervised by a <br /> State of California registered civil engineer or geologist, and will be conducted consistent with applicable <br /> agency standards. <br /> Site Description <br /> The subject property consists of one parcel of land totaling approximately 5.96 acres located on the east <br /> side of South California Street in a mixed industrial, commercial, and residential area of Stockton, <br /> California. <br /> The subject property is bound by vacant land and residences to the north; Pacific Metal Fabricators to the <br /> southeast; a vacant warehouse to the southwest; railroad tracks to the east;and South California Street to <br /> the west, beyond which is McKinley Recreation Center and Park. The subject property is developed with a <br /> single-story continuous carport, warehouse, and office building structure; a maintenance shop building <br /> constructed in the 1950s; and a shed structure constructed in the 1960s. The building is currently <br /> occupied by White Arrow for industrial use as a freight and transportation company. The remainder of <br /> the site consists of asphalt- and gravel-paved parking areas.
