Additional Assessment Workplan <br /> White Arrow <br /> 2402 South California Street <br /> Stockton,California 95206 <br /> Partner Project Number 14-117725.2 <br /> October 8,2014 <br /> Page 14 _ <br /> Investigation-Derived Wastes <br /> No significant amounts of derived wastes(e.g., soil cuttings)will be generated or require disposal. <br /> The boreholes will be backfilled with hydrated bentonite chips and capped with concrete to match <br /> existing ground cover,as necessary, upon completion of sampling. <br /> Laboratory Analysis <br /> Partner will collect and prepare up to 30 soil samples, which will be transported in an iced cooler under <br /> proper chain-of-custody protocol to a state-certified laboratory [certified through the California <br /> Department of Health Services (DHS) Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP)] for <br /> analysis. Each soil sample will be analyzed for carbon chain total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-cc) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8015. Based on field-screening results, one additional soil sample per <br /> boring (six samples total) will be analyzed for VOCs in accordance with EPA Method 8260 and for <br /> California Administrative Manual (CAM) 17 Metals in accordance with EPA Method 6010/7471. <br /> Report Preparation <br /> Partner will summarize the details of the field activities, methods, and findings of the preliminary <br /> assessment in a technical report that will be submitted to the EHD for review and approval. <br /> Schedule <br /> Partner is prepared to initiate activities in this Workplan at the earliest opportunity. Once the appropriate <br /> approvals and permits have been obtained, Partner will schedule the fieldwork. <br /> Limitations <br /> This Workplan represents Partner's professional opinions based upon the currently available information <br /> and are arrived at in accordance with currently acceptable professional standards. This document is based <br /> upon a specific scope of work requested by the client. The Contract between Partner and its client <br /> outlines the scope of work, and only those tasks specifically authorized by that contract or outlined in this <br /> document will be performed. This work plan is intended only for the use of Partner's Client and anyone <br /> else specifically listed on this document. Partner will not and cannot be liable for unauthorized reliance by <br /> any other third party.
