I <br />' 15 January 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 <br />' Page 15 of 20 <br />' depicted in Figures 14, 15 16 and 17 <br /> Ground water elevation data collected In the First Zone Aquifer (5 to 35 feet bsg) from Flag City <br />' Chevron monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-4,MW-5,MW-6A,MW-7,MW-10A and MW-12A <br /> indicated that local ground water flow direction was variable and generally oriented toward the area <br /> of MW-1 at an approximate gradient of 0 009 ft/ft or less (Figure 14), the ground water elevation <br /> data in the area of Flag City Chevron well MW-13A and Three B's Truck Plaza wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-6 indicated that the ground water flow direction was generally toward the east-southeast at an <br /> approximate gradient of 0 004 ft/ft or less <br />' Ground water elevation data collected in the Second Zone Aquifer(40 to 60 feet bsg) from Flag City <br /> Chevron monitoring wells MW-6B, MW-8A, MW-9A and MW-IOB indicated that local ground <br />' water flow direction was variable and generally oriented toward the area of MW-1 at an approximate <br /> gradient of 0 003 ft/ft or less (Figure 15), the ground water elevation data in the area of Flag City <br />' Chevron wells MW-11 A,MW 12B and MW-13B indicated that the ground water flow direction was <br /> generally toward the east-southeast at an approximate gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less <br />' Ground water elevation data collected in the Secondary Aquifer Zone (85 to 105 feet bsg) from Flag <br /> City Chevron monitoring wells MW-8B, MW-9B, MW-10D, MW-11C, MW-12C and MW-13C <br /> indicated that the ground water flow direction was generally east-southeast at an approximate <br /> gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less (Figure 16) <br /> Ground water elevation data collected in the Primary Aquifer Zone (130 to 150 feet bsg) from Flag <br /> 1 City Chevron monitoring wells MW-8C,MW-9C,MW-10E and MW-12D indicated that the ground <br /> water flow direction was generally southeast at an average gradient of 0 0004 Rift or less (Figure 17), <br /> the ground water flow direction in the area of Flag City Chevron wells MW-11D was east and the <br />' flow direction at MW-13D was southwest at an approximate gradient of 0 008 or less, ground water <br /> flow direction and gradient In the area of MW-11D and MW-13D may have been influenced by <br /> pumping operation at domestic water wells DW-1 and RDW-1 <br /> 8 4 2 Laboratory Results Of Ground Water Samples <br />' Dunn the December 2000 sampling event, TPH- was not detected above laboratory reporting <br /> During p g g <br /> limits in the analyzed samples TPH-d was detected in samples collected from wells MW-6B, <br />' MW-9B, MW-12A, MW-12D and MW-13A at concentrations as high as 210 ug/l, however the <br /> laboratory indicated that the diesel range compounds in each sample chromatogram was significant <br />' (no recognizable diesel patterns) <br /> • Benzene was detected in water samples collected from wells MW-6A and MW-13A at <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
